American-Based Curriculum and Diploma

At American Excellence Schools (AES), students benefit from a comprehensive American-based curriculum designed to deliver a rigorous and internationally recognized education. Our curriculum is aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), ensuring a strong foundation in critical thinking, problem-solving, and 21st-century skills across core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

Additionally, the curriculum integrates the Jordanian National Curriculum in Islamic Studies, Arabic, and National Studies. This allows students to maintain a deep connection with their cultural and national heritage while pursuing global academic standards.

To further promote academic excellence, AES offers the Advanced Placement (AP) program, featuring a wide selection of Pre-AP and AP courses. These courses prepare students for college-level work, foster independent learning, and provide the opportunity to earn college credit before graduation.

High school students at AES work toward the American High School Diploma (AHSD), awarded upon successful completion of Grade 12. The AHSD reflects students’ mastery of a rigorous academic program and their readiness for admission to leading universities worldwide. Through the integration of the AHSD and AP programs, AES ensures students are fully equipped for both higher education and the demands of an ever-evolving global landscape.
